Do I get a lock with my storage unit or do I have to bring my own?
Our self storage company recommends purchasing your own lock – that gives you a guarantee that no one else has the key.  We find cylinder or disk locks to be more reliable than others.

What sizes of the storage units are available and how do I choose the right size?
To better accommodate your needs, we ask you call us so we can properly assess the size of the unit and check its availability.

Do I get a discount if I commit to a longer stay?
Long-term discounts are available when you sign up through our property manager.

How should I choose a mover?
We provide a range of products and services at various costs. Our professional estimator will come out to your house and provide you with a quote that works exactly with your individual needs. Items such as supplies, packing and storage can typically be added on to a move. When comparing companies to help you move your valuables, be sure to get a good understanding of what is included in your quote as well as what steps are taken to properly care for your items.

Our local movers are thorough from laying down movers pads to securing your items in our trucks. You should talk to moving companies about the details of your move and select the one that you feel most comfortable with handling your prized possessions.

How much time does it take to secure a Mover?
When possible, we recommend that you call for quotes around 2-3 weeks in advance of your move to ensure that you can get scheduled for the ideal time that fits your needs.

What are the important items you should understand prior to choosing a mover?
You should understand your quote and what it covers. If an accident does occur, who is liable and is there opportunity to purchase an additional insurance protection plan? You should identify all your big items early so that we can accurately assess the size of the job and bring the right amount of support.

What information should the movers know in advance?
An efficient and error-free move can be achieved at the point your first box is packed. It’s important to properly label each box with the room for its destination and if it contains fragile items.

Our professional estimator will identify your large items, number of entrances into the house, narrow doorways and other hurdles involved in the move during the initial visit. Be sure to identify these situations upfront and share your expectations with the movers.

Be clear on schedule restrictions. When the truck arrives the day of your move, all details should be completed so the movers can work efficiently as possible. All details that are addressed at the beginning will help make your move an easy experience.
